Allergies or a cold?

We all have a cold; either that or horrible allergies. Luke is congested but other than that he's just fine. David and I are taking turns coughing and passing the Kleenex back and forth. We don't have a fever but we're still staying home most of the day to rest.

I think we may go out for a few minutes to get a picture of Luke in his pumpkin garb at the pumpkin patch down the street. We'll see. I love this time of year, other than the nose blowing and coughing, it's a beautiful day!

Today is a busy day

I have imagination celebration today which basically means that I'm going to be a Clear Springs HS from 7:45am to 2:00pm on a Saturday with a ton of kids. Oh, I love kids and I love my job but I'm tired and I think I'm catching a cold. It will be fun, but I think I'll need a nap when I get home. :0)

David gets to spend the day with Luke and I think he's excited about it. We live so close to the airshow that he's going to take Luke for a walk around the neighborhood and watch the planes. Sounds like a perfect Father-Son activity!

So, I tried feeding Luke meat sticks and rice on a tray yesterday. It was hilarious! He got meat sticks everywhere! I've heard that some kids hate getting their hands dirty; not this kid. I ended up giving him a veggie and a fruit because I wasn't sure if he swallowed much of his dinner.

I'm excited about my new camera and the 2 GB memory card my Mom got me.

My Mom had to leave this evening at around 6:30 pm; hopefully she won't get sick.

I am so glad that the stomach bug has finished making its way through our home! What a rough time. I'm glad my Mom was here to take care of David, Luke and I. I really hope she doesn't get sick!

O.k., just a short note. Luke has his first stomach bug. There's puke everywhere! Poor baby; hopefully it will be a short bug. I'll keep everyone updated.

I was in the other room and David called me and told me to hurry. I ran in and saw Luke standing up on his own. It wasn't for a couple seconds, Luke stood on his own for about 20 seconds! I got out the camera to hopefully recreate the moment, but he must have tired himself out. Oh well, at least you see that he's standing on his own now. David and I think he'll be walking in a couple weeks.

We went to Mayhill to pick up a generator from David's Mom. On the way, we visited El Paso and Las Cruces. It was a fast trip, but it was so nice to see family.
