Thank God for the Weekend!

Pretty weed.. ..I mean.. flower

This shot cracks me up

Look at all that hair!

Luke isn't allowed to go past the grass; a rule he's already testing.

David, Luke and I had fun playing in the front yard on Friday after a long week.

2 weeks of events

Luke with Daddy on Wednesday morning. Poor little Luke felt horrible.

Goofy grin at bedtime; I think I caught him mid-whine :0)

David and I were talking for 2 minutes and noticed it got really quiet. Ooops!!

Luke loves to be in his box!

Sick again :0(

Luke was really fussy yesterday, he had a temperature of 101.8 and he had a strange colored poop (I won't go into great detail), so David and I called the on-call nurse and she suggested we bring him in today. This morning I found him asleep in his crib with vomit all around him. It was scary and made me feel like a bad Mommy. I took the morning off and we took Luke in to the doctor. He was diagnosed with an ear infection. I think the poop thing must have been something he ate because it was just a one time thing. I'm thankful that it's not a stomach virus; I hate puking and it's inevitable when your kid has a stomach bug. Luke seems to be doing a little bit better this evening. He's on antibiotics and tylenol. We'll see how tomorrow unfolds.

Playing the guitar and playing in the grass

Our musician in training

Luke and I played in the front yard on Thursday while we waited for Daddy to come home from work. Luke thoroughly enjoyed himself. He didn't eat the grass this time which made Mommy very happy. He's growing up so fast! Aren't his Elmo shoes adorable!

Weekends are too short

Luke likes to climb behind me as I'm sitting on the floor.

I'm gonna miss my little boy tomorrow. I think weekends should be 3 days long. :0)
