Luke, Mommy, and Daddy came up with this one. :0)I was sitting eating my dinner, my son in his high chair right in front of me, and it hit me. I only have a week left of summer vacation to spend with my little guy. I teared up a little and had to remind myself that he'll love going to "school" and learning all sorts of new and exciting things with his friends. I guess it's a little harder this year because he's talking to us now. We even joke around about stuff and he's funny. He's a little boy... ..not a baby anymore.
I love my job, don't get me wrong. Being a teacher is a "calling" for me, not just a job. It's just... ..well, time is passing extremely fast. I'm taking pictures and treasuring the memories as much as possible. Does anyone else feel my pain?

I feel your pain!
At least we get a couple months off with this job. And some nice vacations. If you have to work, teaching is one of the most family friendly jobs to have.
