Lazy Saturday
This is how today went. Luke woke up at around 7:45 and we let him talk to himself while we tried to get a few more minutes of sleep. I nursed Luke and then fed him some cereal, which he gobbled down. Luke played in his play yard while I did the dishes. We played a little until his 10 am naptime (I mean our 10 am naptime) ;). We ate lunch, (today Luke ate prunes and sweet potatoes), and did a little laundry until it was time for another nap at 2 pm. Luke woke up at around 4:20 and we played and goofed off until dinner time at around 6:30. David and I had breakfast for dinner and Luke had cereal with bananas and sweet potatoes. Luke had his bath at 7:50 and went to bed around 8:10. I can't figure out why the heck I'm so tired, it's not like we really did much. I think it's because David didn't sleep very well last night. I woke up at least 6 or 7 times. I'm going to bed early tonight.

Camera Problems
Our camera may be on it's way out. I've taped it closed because somehow the screws came loose. We got a new battery today (which is currently charging) since our other one would only hold a charge for around 10 minutes. I really love that camera so I'm hoping that a little tlc will help it stick around for a little while longer.
Luke and I went on a walk this evening with Sue's sister Cathy, Sue's daughter Heather and Alayna (Heather's little girl). Alayna talked to Luke pretty much the whole time and Luke did his best to talk to her and laughed at all her antics; it was adorable! I got a blister that really bugged me at the end of the walk, but it feels better now. Walking makes me feel great, and it's helping me to lose my "fluff".
Hopefully my camera will be up and running again tomorrow so I can upload more cute pics of baby Luke. Yea for the weekend!

Beach Day
We took Luke to the beach today, and it was so much fun. Luke put his little feet in the water and squished sand between his toes. It almost made me cry to see him taking in the beauty of God's awesome creation.
We didn't stay for very long because David and I didn't have swim suits on, but next time we'll stay longer and be more prepared to get wet. We think that we'll make Wednesday our "beach day" for the rest of the summer.
David loved holding Luke as they watched the waves
