Busy Bee

Today was a very lazy day. Luke went to the chiropractor with me and promptly pooped just as soon as we got placed in a room. In fact, (and I'm sure you want to know this), Luke pooped three times today! Whew! We went through our usual routine: Nap, Eat, Play, Nap, Play, Eat, Play, Bath, Bed. I hope he sleeps like he did last night; he was out for 11 hours straight.

I can almost reach it!

I had to get Luke the keys Casey has, but right now he's more interested in eating his
high chair toy.

What a Monday!

Luke likes pulling up on EVERYTHING!

Hi Milo! Today Luke massaged Milo and pulled out chunks of fur; Milo purred loudly and rolled over on his back. He's a silly kitty.

Luke and Alayna are sleepy after our walk. I'll get pictures of Heather and Kathy when we're not all sweaty. :0)

Luke feeding himself for the first time!

Yummy carrots!

Fun at the Crawford's

Jackie, Andy and Casey Crawford that is!
I'm so glad I got in touch with Jackie! We were in Lamaze class together and really got along well. (We couldn't get through a class without cracking up laughing.) I was cleaning out my purse a few weeks ago and found her e-mail address, so I e-mailed her. Luckily the e-mail I sent got to her before that e-mail account was out of commission. Yippeeeee!
We went over for dinner tonight and had a blast watching the kids play together, (well sort of; Luke was more interested in attacking Dixie the dog). The King Ranch Chicken was super yummy and I got to see Jackie's scrap books. I think I'll try my hand at scrap booking, with her help of course. :0)

Casey and Luke playing with (trying to eat) Andy's shoe laces.

There goes Luke! He's off to chase Dixie!
Luke loved Casey's keys. Look close and you'll see Casey playing with her daddy's shoes.

Aaahhh! So sweet!

Eight Months Old Today!

"Where's my Chinese food?"

"Look close and you'll see my sparkling pearly whites! Mommy says they're like piranha teeth, but I'm not sure why."

At 7:03 pm today Luke turned 8 months old!! I can't believe that much time has past since he was born. We went to Oriental Gourmet to celebrate, and he entertained the table next to us as usual. His little personality is coming out more and more every day. I'm so happy that he's our son! Tomorrow is going to be a great day; we're going to go to Babies"R"Us and Lowe's to get a few things for Luke's room. I'd like to go to Carter's too, but we'll see what Luke would like to do.

Such a happy little jumper!

bath and bed time

David likes to put stuff on Luke's head. Luke doesn't mind which makes it even more funny!

Luke has decided that it's fun to climb out of his ducky. I'm not sure how much longer we're going to be able to use it. :0)

"Dada" helping get Luke ready for bed.

I knew the time would come but I hoped it wouldn't be this soon. Yes, Luke has learned to bite me while he's nursing. I remember reading somewhere that whenever this happens I should immediately stop nursing, say "no" and put him in his crib or place him away from where I am. I'd love to hear any suggestions you may have, so post comments please.

Adjustment and Laughs

Luke went to the chiropractor with me today and he entertained the ladies in the office. I'll have to get some pictures of them with him on Wednesday morning. I had a meeting with my MaryKay Director after the chiropractic appointment this morning and I'm super excited about my new business. I'm going to set up my website tomorrow and get everything set to start excepting orders. Here are some pictures of Luke playing on the floor in the living room this evening. Notice that he has toys out but he's more interested in the bag of wipes!
